The time to complete the SQE depends on the individual's circumstances, however, providing you have allowed several months to prepare for SQE1 and SQE2 and have passed the two assessments on your first attempt, you can complete the assessment within 9-12 months.

You will also need to meet the qualifying work experience (QWE) requirement of two years. Foreign lawyers are exempt from this requirement.
